Andy Kaufman was on the dating game in the 70’s and did this great bit based on a rhetorical question. The potential date asks him if she were Santa and he sat on her lap what would he ask for. Hilarious!

@emilysgama he wasn’t a comedian
@Rawnesss I think it might even be actress Rene Russo .. mind you this was the 70’s ..she was younger looking .. but was one of the bigger models to grace fashion mags and makeup endorsements at the time.. who knows?..
but seriously..look at the eyes and the lips when you re watch the video

Here I come to save the day!
@patimz Andy Kaufman was a standup comedian who specialized in edgy comedy bits that the audience often never knew was real or fake. In this case he ended up on the Dating Game which he did as his character Latka from Taxi. The funny comes from the fact a lot of people watching back then wouldn’t have realized this was a put on.

Andrew Geoffrey Kaufman✡ was the most famous IRL troll who ever lived, a man who dedicated his life to making people confused, irritated, shocked, and/or infuriated, and was the first and only man to make a living out of doing it for the lulz. He was also pretty much the greatest person who ever lived ever (and not even his being a Jew can stop this) and is widely considered to be the father of trolling, and quite possibly even anonymous itself. Hey, it’s a possibility.

@aqueousone His Elvis was amazing but don’t forget his alter ego Tony Clifton.
@hinduw Yup. Unfortunately beauty and glamour died somewhere in the 1980s.
Hot girl: “Little boy, take it away…”
Andy: “wut”
@BOBSTAHL You obviously never saw his Elvis impersonation. Andy is widely regarded as an entertainment genius… ut, sorry I got distracted watching that Sarah Mclachlan video you have in your favorites, she’s amazing! Where was I? Ah yes, Andy. I remember his tonight show appearance where he did his Mighty Mouse lip sync and I had the same thought as you… NO talent.. I could do that… then he spun around and the most dead on Elvis you could ever hope to see. Check him out, You’ll like him.
@WastedPo Re Dating Game: The shows producers probably contacted talent agencies specifically looking for young, beautiful people that were trying to break into show business. Other TV and film producers probably scouted the program looking for new talent in which they could feature in their projects.
Damn sure she’s beautiful! She’s my grandma!
Andy Kaufman wasn’t a comedian. He self described himself as a song and dance man
